I designed and built this enclosure for ackies (Varanus acanthurus) and successfully kept and bred them in this for many years. It’s ideal for small goannas but would suit dragon species as well. The two large hollow logs shown are included.
Please note this is quite a large enclosure (dimensions further down). It is mounted on wheels to make it easy to move on smooth or carpeted floors. Once in position, I used wooden blocks to disperse the weight more evenly rather than letting it sit on the wheels. The sliding glass doors are laminated and on rollers (not just plastic tracks).

1830 × 720 × 1280 (L×D×H) allows for cords on the back and the wheels underneath. Once on wooden blocks it will be slightly taller.
This enclosure three separate electrical cords to plug in to run it.
Basking sites
There are two basking sites, one on the top right side and the other towards the lower left corner on the back. Both have two GU10 fittings for halogen globes.
Fluro Battens
There are two fluro battens, one mounted on the inside top and the other mounted under the main shelf. These are both 2ft battens and can be used to provide UV.
Ambient heat
Halfway up the enclosure on the left is a basic on/off thermostat mounted on the back panel. This is connected to two ceramic ES fittings mounted under the main shelf on the right hand side. These currently have 2× 150W ceramic heat emitters which are also included.
