I have decided after much resentment to sell my two Laceys.
Bred them myself last year and kept these two from the clutch.
Mother was a normal and father was a bells phase.
I just don’t have the time and space to be able to keep them at this stage.
Suspected pair. I believe the normal is male and bells is female as he is starting to show a larger bulky head and the base of the tail looks larger than the bells.
Fed them daily through Summer and Autumn have slowed the feeds back to once or twice a week right now with the temperature drops.Main diet of turkey mince with boiled eggs and shell crushed up in mince with calcium powder added every second feed. Occasionally quail,beef/kangaroo mince, mice and rat..They will occasionally take from tongs if they are enthusiastic enough . But they will eat anything from a left in bowl.
Housed together since hatching
These two HAVE NOT been handled very much.Except when taking out of the enclosure to clean ect. Again the reason I’m selling as I just don’t have the time to give them to condition them into the trust ect of handling. They are quite flighty and can put up a fight if trying to handle. Once in my hands they calm down very quickly.
I suggest only enquire if your are an experienced large monitor keeper and of course a NSW R2 licence is required.
Not really keen on freight . I do frequent the greater Sydney region or viewing or pick up is available from me in Goulburn.
I’m asking $1200 for the pair.
Possibly would separate but would prefer to sell together.
